14. I Could Hold Space. Could I Make the Ask?

October 18, 2026•9 min read

It's summer 2021 and I'd say my average vibration around this time period was that of love. My vibration as it related to sales or marketing though, was that of fear.

What I learned is that if you are operating at a high level of consciousness as a conscious entrepreneur, it can be hard to intentionally want to dip into lower levels of consciousness and put yourself outside of your comfort zone.

Think of the departments of your business as different subjects in school, and think of your average vibration as your average GPA — you have your average GPA, and you your GPA for a particular class. If your GPA is good and you're passing a class you don't love, you may not wish to do the extra work to improve that grade beyond a passing grade.

Same thing here with not wanting to intentionally dip into the level of consciousness of fear to address the departments of sales or marketing. We were getting leads through networking, referrals and intros. But it just was a trickle, not a flood. And in order to get more leads, we'd have to consciously focus on doing more sales and more marketing.

What I've found is that this unwillingness to step into an area of the business outside of your comfort zone is a common form of bypass many entrepreneurs face. Similar to spiritually bypassing, saying "everything is perfect" but not addressing your underlying emotions and beliefs around a triggering topic.

It works the same way in life, so when we coach our clients, we created a weekly assessment about their their level of consciousness is around a specific category of life, for instance taking their relationship to the next level. They may be overall in a state of willingness, reason or love, but when it comes to that topic they may change the subject, procrastinate, or avoid focusing there.

Ultimately if you consciously choose to take the vibrational hit by dipping into your fear, to process your subconscious emotions, beliefs, narratives around doing the action, you are raising your level of consciousness to courage to take the action you've been fearing ie doing outreach or posting content with calls to action, you do end up raising your vibration in that area of the business, and thus your baseline overall vibration increases as well.

The narratives that are under there are different for each person based on their past experiences and upbringing — a fear of being seen, a fear of rejection, not feeling worthy to receive, a fear of success and needing to increase their responsibility and capacity as a result and then burning out. All of these are valid and can be substantiated based on anyone's past experience.

However, if you want to change your life circumstances or results in your business, you have to be willing to question these ingrained patterns and do it anyway.

Where we see things go wrong is dipping down to process what's there, but then not reinforcing it by following through and taking the new action.

However, I'd say during this time, I was moreso processing than taking the uncomfortable actions that would REALLY change my circumstances and accelerate our business.

As part of the coaching mastermind, we were building the funnels and doing the backend pieces, clarifying our methodology, learning how to conduct sales calls, learning how to create content and what to create content about from our market research interviews, learning about the difference between client-facing language and internal-facing language.

I did start posting, but it was hard for me to stick with it, because it felt too foreign for my current identity at that time. Afterall, I'd been completely off of social media entirely during the peak pandemic months. That's when many online coaches went through explosive growth online. Unfortunately, I did not ride that wave.

Instead, I allowed many forms of procrastination to creep in and I was exhausting my funds while doing so. Instead of doubling down on sales and marketing, I did more trainings and certifications: human design, Quantum Alignment System. They were things I was passionate about for sure, they did enhance the insights I gave my clients.

We've always used Human Design to inform how we coach each client uniquely and I wanted to understand it and them better. And Quantum Alignment System helped me practice using EFT tapping to process underlying traumas, stories to help with taking action that would prove to be very effective with clients later

And looking back at everything we've fused into our methodology today I would say they were necessary. However, were they necessary at that time? — when I was already over-indexed on client delivery and product development, and on how I was investing my money, and under-indexed on sales, marketing — I would say the ROI was not immediate, and wouldn't be apparent until many years later when we synthesized our complete methodology.

This is a common pitfall I see many entrepreneurs fall into, especially spiritual and wellness practitioners "let me go take more trainings so I can feel more confident and legitimate in what I offer" instead of working on your worthiness to feel legitimate internally and building external legitimacy through getting more reps at bat— more reps at the sales process, more reps posting content, more reps moving more clients through my program to build confidence that way. The latter is definitely quicker, but sometimes more painful to do as you're expanding your comfort zone. As they say, the hard way is the easy way.

I chose the "easy way" which was more avoidance of what made me uncomfortable. More spiritual expansion was a yes, building things on the backend of the business for us was a yes, taking sales calls with inbound leads was a yes. Doing outreach and social media marketing was a hard no for me.

On the plus side, all the coaching programs I signed up for helped me and us figure out all the various options for funding you can access as an entrepreneur, which would be helpful for our future clients and creating pathways for them to afford us. From payment plans on credit cards, to balance transfers, to PayPal Pay in 4 plans, to getting business credit and loans. You name it, we tried it. We became experts at buy now, pay later or pay over time options.

Around this time I was getting into the work of Dr. Joe Dispenza. We'd read his book Becoming Supernatural, started practicing his meditations and had dreamed of going to one of his retreats one day. He was having an Advanced retreat in Cancun at the end of the year and through creative funding options, we found a way to go.

Again it was investing in upgrades and expansion, but at that time I firmly believed I can accelerate my vision for this business and for my total life of joy coming coming to fruition by spending more time in the quantum. And tapping into the magic of non-linear manifestation again.

Yes, that's true. However, I learned that it must be backed up with the action. Yes there were and are many transcendent moments I have in that meditation space and when I open my eyes afterwards, I would love seeing what notifications come up on my phone. Many times the results were immediate.

What I was calling in was also looking for me. Someone thinking of you as you're thinking of them, and it's the perfect person for you to catch up with who also needs your program and the sale happens organically. However, this is what I call a synchronistic sale. And although effective, you need to build systems for your business so sales become a constant and less so a "serendipitous surprise".

So my stance on this is, yes doing the meditative practices and the work in the quantum is great, however, carrying that energy into your day and backing it up with action and follow through on the insights you receive in that meditative space is even better. And building 3D infrastructure to best receive that quantum magic is a must. This is how we contextualize it for our 5D inclined clients. Because at that time in my life, I was delusional in thinking all I had to do was the work in the 5D.

The Dr. Joe retreat was transformative for me for several reasons though. I'd contracted a stomach bug there, and was running to the bathroom there incessantly on the second day of the retreat. I could barely sit up and sit through a meditation.

During one of the blessing of the energy centers meditations, I asked my body to heal itself and for any guides who are around at his retreat to come and help me with this. Halfway through this meditation I felt all symptoms of nausea and diarrhea vanish. It was a blessing indeed.

I also let go of my need and desire to be vegan any longer. One of the reasons it lingered for me as long as it did was because I thought I was going to lose my energetic sensitivity and intuitive gifts, silly as that may sound, it does make you more attuned to processing your own issues, rather than the "karma" you ingest from other living beings. We actually later learned that eating meat and fish have certain benefits in moving your manifestations forward in the 3D.

When I came back from the Dr. Joe retreat, I had what they call the "Dispenza Fluenza" a cold or flu with lingering cough symptoms. Many people in the spiritual community say after such an upgrade experience like the retreat I just went to, your body goes through a biological upgrade afterwards to hold the new frequency as things that don't serve you die off and get purged from the body. I did witness people go through that in my retreat in India with the guru a couple of years ago, but I hadn't experienced it until now.

And of course, the biological upgrade I went through and we both went through rippled into our business and the work we do with clients. The transformations we facilitated that used to take us 3 months, we could now do in one afternoon as a 1 day intensive. It was TRULY quantum seeing how we could shorten the time gap to a result in this way!
